Introduction Librarianship is a profession facing many challenges not only in the constantly evolving environment, but even in the academic institutions housing Library and Information Science Courses, IJLIS therefore publishes papers from practicing librarians, information workers and academics which reflect all aspects of librarianship and information science focusing on how to resolves these challenges through research, reports of significant developments in librarianship, topical issues and discussions of concerns central to the information profession. The journal publishes original papers and review articles. It is particularly interested in the intersection of librarianship and publishing and the resulting role of libraries in both content dissemination and content creation.

Aim and Scope: Ibom Journal of Library and Information Science is an open-access peer-reviewed journal intended for librarians, library administrators, information scientists, academics, educators and students from various backgrounds who are interested in all aspects of librarianship and information science and in reporting their research findings.

Vision: To become one of the most sought-after Journals by scholars and researchers in the field of Librarianship and Information Science in Nigeria, Africa and the world.

Mission: Provide a forum for authors to present research findings, and practical applications and best practices that are increasingly relevant to Librarianship and Information Science professionals
